The protests across the country following the release of a video which shows officer Derek Chauvin with his knee on George Floyd's neck for over 8 minutes while three other officers stood there watching Floyd's life being snatched away.
The atrocity of the murder is nothing new; after the civil war, blacks were chased much like wild animals, gunned down, their bodies left to be consumed by wild animals or decomposed.
These murders are the direct result of policies, legislations and laws designed specifically to put blacks in those predicaments.
Will there be a different outcome this time?
