THUGS is a negative connotation. It is however well it is dressed up. Republican Legislators in Washington are compared to Thugs in Suits because their behavior, however well dressed up they are, is not any better than what one would expect from thugs, badly dressed or completely undressed thugs.
To judge by the survey on various topics since Trump' departure, Republican consitutents are fully responsible for the predicament the country is in. They support their leaders who have declared war on America's principles; they have worked to dismantle the Constitution; they openly fight to destroy every aspect of US Democracy.
For most in the Republican Party, especially the leaders, it's just business as usual. Are Republican constituents simply under some sort of spell? Is it mass illusion or are they simply evil naturally?
