Since the last podcast regarding the Corona Virus, the world has changed in very big way.
Human casualties continue to mount. As of our last broadcast, the number of individuals
infected with the CoronaVirus has surpassed a million.
As of this podcast, the scientific community has yet to announce a cure for the virus.
In the meantime, areas that were previously considered to have recovered from the spread (South Korea,
China) have seen upticks in the number of infection.
It is now feared that there may a second wave of infections threatening those who were considered safe.
Scientists have been working around the clock to rush a vaccine in; the closer they believe they have
gotten to understand the virus, the more frustrated it's become to have discoverd another aspect which
was previously unknown.
Here in America, we have a president who believes his job is to hold rallies, venues in which he can attack
everyone who criticizes him. The crisis has deprived him of such opportunity but that has not changed
any aspect of his character. He stills is the vindictive individual who cannot mince words, who wants recognition for doing what the job demands. He paints eveyone as he is, a fraud, someone who is looking to defraud others.
He has accused health professionals of hoarding the resources they so desperately need to do their jobs.
It is in this moment of crisis it is the most obvious that half the country, the Republicans, have no clue
how to pick a competent leader.
The United States of America is screwed.
