Welcome to OHSCA Interviews! Today we have the MP for Abbotsford joining us, The Honourable Ed Fast.
Ed was first elected to represent Abbotsford in 2006, and has been re-elected 5 times since then. Prior to his election, Ed practiced corporate and commercial law in Abbotsford for 24 years. On May 18, 2011, former Prime Minister Stephen Harper appointed Ed to his cabinet to serve as Minister of International Trade where he created many free trade agreements with many nations. In 2015 Ed became Canada’s longest serving Trade Minister. Ed currently serves as the Shadow Minister for Innovation, Science and Industry.
