Welcome to OHSCA Interviews! Today we have the MP for Wellington—Halton Hills joining us, The Honourable Michael Chong.
Michael was first elected in 2004 and has been re-elected 6 times. In 2006, Michael served in the federal cabinet as President of the Queen’s Privy Council, Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister for Sport. Before being an MP, Michael acted as Chief Information Officer for the National Hockey League Players’ Association and as a senior technology consultant to the Greater Toronto Airports Authority for the redevelopment of Pearson International Airport. Michael also co-founded the Dominion Institute, now known as Historica Canada. In 2017, Michael also took a run in the CPC Leadership Race. Michael currently serves as the Shadow Minister for Foreign Affairs.
