Welcome to OHSCA Interviews! Today we have the MPP for Haliburton—Kawartha Lakes—Brock joining us, Laurie Scott.
Laurie was first elected in 2003 and served until 2007, and then returned in 2011. She has served in a variety of roles as an MPP in opposition and in government. From 2018-2019, Laurie served as Ontario’s Minister of Labour, and then served as Minister of Infrastructure from 2019-2021. Laurie is an advocate for victims of human sex trafficking in Ontario, both inside and outside of the Legislature, and has received national awards for her work.
