Welcome to OHSCA Interviews! Today we have the MPP for Mississauga—Erin Mills joining us, Sheref Sabawy.
Sheref was first elected in the 2018 election and is the very first MPP for the new riding of Mississauga—Erin Mills. He has worked on many community activities and campaigns including the Missisauga Mayor’s advisory committee with Mayor Hazel McCallion as well as working with the interfaith council of Peel before running in 2018. Sheref is the first Egyptian born MPP in Ontario’s history. He currently serves as the Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Heritage, Sport, Tourism and Culture Industries.
