Jennifer and James Crumbley, the parents of school shooter, Ethan Crumbley will stand trial, according to the Michigan court of appeals. In a 3–0 decision, the high court determined that the couple must stand trial for involuntary manslaughter charges the younger Crumbley killed four fellow students in November 2021, after his father had purchased for him a 9 mm auto pistol, despite being only 15 at the time and suffering from severe mental illnesses.
