On January 12, the Milwaukee District Attorney amended the criminal complaint against Darrell Brooks, Jr. accused of the “Christmas Parade Massacre” that happened on November 21, 2021. Accused of six charges of first-degree homicide, an additional 71 charges have been added. Brooks faces 61 counts of first degree reckless endangering safety with a dangerous weapon, the SUV he drove into parade participants. 6 counts of hit and run, death resulting, 2 felony bail jumping charges, and 2 misdemeanor domestic abuse battery charges.
