Hi. I’m David Beck and I’m the director on Arabian Nights 2, which is the follow up to Arabian Nights 1!
This installment follows the epic adventures of Sinbad the Sailor with various beasts and baddies, but it’s still anchored by the sort of framing device of Scheherezade and her nightly storytelling to Shahriyar in order to save her life…which we followed in the first instalment, Arabian Nights 1, that included the Ali Baba tale and also Julnar the Seaborn.
I feel that Arabian Nights 2 stands up on its own but it would be worth having a listen to the first one if you’ve got a spare 8 or 9 hours!
