Our series is an occult radio play of unknowable horror and black comedy. It's also an unholy marriage of improvised actual play and scripted audio drama.
These live performances channel the visceral panic and humor of actually living through sanity-shredding nightmares. Then my team and I go back in, script new elements, bring in an expanded voice cast, create original score, and add cinematic sound design to summon this podcast to life. What's more, our series has a focus on elevating Lovecraftian horror beyond the authors' myopic view of the world. It's a historical drama that features prominent women, people of color, queer representation, and explores the unknowable in ways that Lovecraft's fears, prejudices, and small-mindedness couldn't fathom.
