The Veiled Monarch is an urban fantasy taking place in modern day Florida. This is a world where vampires, werewolves, Druids and Humans all live together in relative peace. The non Human groups are regulated by laws that are difficult for normal law enforcement to maintain. This is where the Iron Oath comes into play. the Iron Oath was formed in the early 12th century to help Humans remain safe and make certain non Humans follow the rules. However, the non Humans all claim the Iron Oath has moved down a sinister path that is nothing but harmful to all of them. Two Police Detectives in Miami find themselves wrapped up in the dangers of the Iron Oath. While they begin to solve cases, they are also working hard to keep their allies safe.
