Hey, this is Michael Herman, one of the writers and showrunners behind The Call of the Void, which is a story about a tour guide and a palm reader in modern day New Orleans that encounter a cosmic entity called The Void, that longs to bring the world into perfect stillness. This is the first episode of our nine-part second season which was released in early 2020. It’s been a year since the events of the previous season, and our characters find themselves reunited over a nightmarish new mystery besetting the city. This show is loosely built on Lovecraftian lore, but reinvents his cosmic horror for a modern audience. We hope you enjoy the immersive dive into The Call of the Void. Thank you for listening!
