In life's intricate design,
There are those who hold affection for you,
And likewise, you hold dear those a few.
Yet, amidst this affectionate bond,
Lurk kinfolk, countless, in dire straits,
Their hunger unappeased, their needs profound.
Then there are those, distant perhaps,
Whom you're indebted to, by some unspoken pact,
Let them not be forgotten, let them benefit too.
My dear, let no caution restrain your hand,
No need for prudent, worldly guise,
For in the realm of giving,
Discrimination finds no place.
Let the wealth, bestowed upon us,
By Kumanan, sovereign of the Mudirai hills,
Rich in their bounty, abundant in their yield,
Be shared amongst all, without bias or divide.
