ABOUT THE POEM:

The poem LOVE'S LISPING ECHOES reflects on the beauty found in seemingly imperfect or unconventional aspects of life. It begins by exploring the lisping speech of children, which is often seen as unintelligible. However, to a father, this speech holds immense warmth and significance, symbolizing the bond between parent and child. The poet then extends this idea to their own words addressed to a king named Neduman Anji, described as a conqueror of many forts. Despite any imperfections or challenges, the poet's words are received with grace and love by Neduman Anji, highlighting the power of connection and understanding in relationships. Overall, the poem celebrates the beauty found in the ordinary and imperfect moments of life, emphasizing the importance of love and acceptance.

LOVE'S LISPING ECHOES

The soft cadence of children's speech,

not always melodic,

at times unintelligible,

and untimely interruptions.

But to a father's ear,

it's a symphony of warmth,

embracing the disarray

with tender affection.

Similarly, my words sound melodic

in reaching you, Neduman Anji,

Victor of fortified strongholds,

as you graciously shower

your love upon me.
