This week's episode features Ana Hanhausen.  

Ana Hanhausen holds a Chemical Engineering degree with honors from Mexico City’s Universidad Iberoamericana. Since 2018, she has been a part of Plastic Oceans Mexico, where she is currently the vice director. Ana is co-founder of The Color Book, a startup that aims to make climate action easy, fun, and rewarding through an app. In March of 2020, she also began collaborating with Protect Our Planet (POP) Movement on their new initiative, POP Ocean, which aims to educate, mentor and support youth-led marine conservation projects. Ana has participated as both speaker and organizer of national and international events and activities to raise awareness on global environmental challenges, including World Sustainable Development Forum in 2020, where she presented the perspective of youth on the urgent need for climate action. In February of 2020, Ana was awarded the Youth Medal of Merit by Mexico City’s Congress for her work in raising awareness on climate change and motivating the youth to take action and become a part of the solution.
