Sidoarjo Police Chief Kompol Kusumo Wahyu Bintoro said in Sidoarjo, Tuesday, as many as 1,500 doses of Sinovac vaccine were given to students at Al-Ahmad School and local residents.

The Head of Madrasah Al-Ahmad M. Sudi appreciated the vaccination program implemented through the collaboration between the Sidoarjo Police and NU, because it can encourage the creation of herd immunity in the school environment and the community around the school.
He said the implementation of the first and second stages of vaccination was not only for students and staff at Al-Ahmad but also for the surrounding community.
The Sidoarjo Police also accelerated vaccination to remote villages by sending vaccination vehicles.
In addition, the Taman Pinang Police Station offers a 24-hour vaccination post to make it easier for people who want to get vaccinated late at night.
