(Surabaya to Host Mass Vaccinations at Several Locations)
The Surabaya city government, East Java, will soon host mass inter-agency vaccinations at some locations. Surabaya Mayor Eri Cahyadi stated in Surabaya on Monday that the second vaccine stocks were currently awaited. The mayor made assurance that the city government would work alongside the Surabaya Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) once the vaccine stocks were received from the central government for promptly implementing the vaccination program. Cahyadi voiced support for mass COVID-19 vaccinations at several locations in Surabaya hosted by private companies and stakeholders, such as that organized in several companies and campuses. Currently, some 705 thousand residents of Surabaya await their second dose of the Sinovac vaccine.
