In this episode, we speak with Larry Bauer from the Bauer Printing Company about being active in the community through volunteering and serving on several organizations' boards and steering committees and how those bonds can not only help you in business but also deliver a sense of fulfillment and more!
About Larry Bauer: Seizing the opportunity of making a difference, rather than just talking about making a difference, Larry is deeply involved with many community groups and initiatives, not only in name but in action and involvement as well, all with the goal that we live in a community that is widely diverse and inclusive yet intertwined with various resources right at our doorstep that most take for granted.
Larry is the president of the Teaneck, NJ Chamber of Commerce and has also served as a board member of the Cedar Lane Management Group and the Teaneck Creek Conservancy; an officer of the Rotary Club of Teaneck and the Teaneck Historical Society; serving on the steering committee of the Teaneck International Film Festival, Fair Trade Teaneck and the Age-Friendly Teaneck organizations, a Commissioner on the Historic New Bridge Landing Park Commission; and a multitude of other organizations.
When not involved with community activities, Larry is the CEO of a local printing company established in 1977 working with small to medium-sized businesses and organizations.
