For many new entrepreneurs, marketing in and of itself is often left to be done when they have time. Marketing is also thought of as an afterthought and the biggest piece of marketing, having a clear market dominating position- something that sets you apart from your competitors and tells people they have to be foolish to not work with you - is something that is not even thought of. And it’s not your fault if you are in this same position because you weren’t taught to think this way. Having a clear understanding of what makes you different is key but your prospects need to see and understand the same thing. They need to see you as the expert and someone they know, like, and trust. How you get there will determine how well you may or may not do in your market.
