As a young girl on the pew, I had a dream of working in ministry. So people in ministry became my heroes — but not just the preachers and the words they spoke into my spirit. I watched their wives as well. I took in every move those ladies made at conferences and noted how they prayed, worshiped, worked the altars— all the things. Being ministry myself now is so surreal. Who I am now was shaped by the women I watched as a teenager. So this one is for you, minister’s wife. We need your worship. We need you working the altars. We need you praying over us.
