Welcome to our very first episode of How We Do It, a podcast featuring prominent female leaders in Kerr County in the Texas Hill County about their careers, successes and struggles, and inspiration for the future.
Your two co-hosts are Alyson Amestoy and Katharine Boyette. Alyson Amestoy is the owner of Story Garden Co., a media production company that strives to tend community driven stories in the heart of the Texas Hill Country in Kerrville, Texas. She is also a coffee so it is fitting that How We Do It was filmed in a coffee shop. Katharine Boyette works as an events coordinator for the Callioux Foundation in Kerrville, Texas. How We Do It is her passion project as she wanted to create a space for career women to talk about their experiences in the Hill Country.
In this episode, we interview Lanza Teague, executive director of the Kerr Arts and Cultural Center and we talk about women in Kerrville history, body positivity and so much more. This was a conversation that we could have kept going for another hour if we wanted to.
