Description

The fellas are back for a winter storm edition of Here's a Guy. How is their sanity holding up? Well, the episode is 2 hours 20 minutes long if that tells you anything. With that said, we start things off with a discussion of the institution of snow days, marks who want to drive in bad weather to go to work rather than stay home, and the infamous night we all jogged to a bar through the snow and one of our friends got racially profiled by a cop. Then, it's 3 more classic topics, featuring a ridiculous rich failson from the 1600s who attempted various dastardly schemes for no apparent reason, a pioneering black astronomer and clockmaker who perfectly called Thomas Jefferson out on his crap, then an old-timey baseball player who raced a horse then fell into a slump so bad it got him banned from the sport. Plus, a rare serious discussion on the futility of those who offer only rhetorical support rather than genuine solidarity to those who fight against injustice and how to view our actions in the context of history.
