Recorded Live in Vancouver, BC. Even when you go on vacation you can still have ADHD symptoms or you can always get triggered and experience a flashback from your child parts. We need to be prepared! We need to plan out our vacation to reduce the chances of having our ADHD cause complications or having our CPTSD create potentially dangerous problems. Nobody wants to have flashback and become triggered while on a vacation but it could occur and it won’t turn out well for you. Plan ahead, do your research, learn about the place you are going. If you’re going with someone then make sure they are aware of your CPTSD.. have them help by handling some of the responsibilities and make sure they know how to help you if you have a trigger. Easiest way you can prevent or reduce the chance of a flashback is to do your work ahead of time! Process and update your parts!, show them that you’re ready for this vacation and that they can trust you to take care of everyone while away. Doing your work before you travel is truly the best way to be fully prepared for this trip and to ensure that you’ll likely have a great trip and enjoy it all! Feel safe and feel prepared for anything when you’re away from home.
