Description

Kathrin Bussmann is an international marketing strategist, who helps digital-first companies build successful global brands. She loves to operate at the intersection of global business, content marketing, and localization.

Through her strategic consultancy, Verbaccino Inc., Kathrin advises global-minded B2B brands on how to attract, engage and retain more international customers. In her role as Head of Content Localization at Bubbl, a digital marketing agency, she works with growth-oriented brands who are ready to expand into international markets. And as the producer & host The Worldly Marketer Podcast, she interviews industry experts on what it takes to go global in today’s digital, social, multilingual marketplace.

Born in Quebec of German immigrant parents, Kathrin grew up fluent in German, French, and English. She holds degrees in Communications Studies and Linguistics from the University of Ottawa, and a Ph.D. in Linguistics from Humboldt Universität in Berlin. Now based in Toronto, she is a Co-Founder of Women in Localization Eastern Canada (WLEC). She is also a member of the Globalization and Localization Association (GALA) and of The Global Chamber.
