Amanda Cheney is an entrepreneur and philanthropist in Raleigh, NC. After graduating from NC State, Amanda worked in telecommunications, banking, and politics before starting her own business in May of 2011.
aMANda'S BEST FRIEND, LLC is a premium level pet care service in the Raleigh area. In addition to her business, Amanda is fully vested in the Raleigh community through her volunteerism with the non-profit Band Together. She attended the Harvard Business School Governing for Nonprofit Excellence Program in September 2019. Amanda is an avid traveler, certified yoga instructor, and long-distance runner. She also loves to cook and read. And, of course, she’s totally obsessed with her dog named Nala who she rescued in October 2019.
