Week 7 of the NFL is in the books, but it feels like we're only just now starting to tackle the core of the NFL season. It's taken almost 2 months, but now we can start to truly assess how good different teams and players are. Are the Chiefs even a playoff team now, let alone a championship contender? Records don't mean everything, but they definitely say a lot; perhaps this is most telling when you look at them piece-by-piece like when the Panthers and Broncos both started 3-0 but have since gone 0-4. If teams want a shot at changing their identities, next week's trade deadline might be their last chance. As questions loom over the futures of Sam Darnold and Tua Tagovailoa, will either of their teams try winning the Deshaun Watson sweepstakes?
