Description

Kristin found EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) after a traumatic accident and found out first-hand the healing benefits of this somatic (physical) therapy. She has turned her passion for this technique into a healing practice where she helps others heal their trauma through EFT and other integrated healing techniques - healing body, mind and spirit. We explore the benefits of this technique, Kristin’s experience with her current clients and she even walks us through a simple demo of the technique!

- Kristin writes that, “EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), also sometimes called tapping, is a gentle but powerful way of relieving stress, anxiety, the pain of grief, self-defeating patterns, and physical discomfort. It is also a brilliant way to deactivate triggers associated with distressing experiences or memories. There is no issue too big or too small for EFT.”

- There are 9 tapping points that you can utilize in the technique

- You can clear trauma or negative emotions by rewiring your brain to respond differently to these experiences and emotions

- EFT can help by allowing us to dig down to the ‘root’ or core issues that we have, that may manifest as surface issues

- The most common trend Kristin sees with women in her practice is low self worth that can manifest in a myriad of ways like imposter syndrome at work or self-abandonment (always putting others before ourselves) for example

This can be related to trauma or conditioned beliefs like ‘don’t raise your voice’, ‘help others before you help yourselves’
