Today was a very special day on the Daily Show. I had the opportunity to interview my mom on her 87th birthday. Mom was pretty "off the cuff", but she told me she had some prepared material. She is such a pro that I never knew where the prepared material came in.
Bob Lynch spent some time updating us on how MoDot handles road conditions during winter weather. We also discussed some upcoming projects and the status of the bridge over Bagnell Dam.
Of course, Fridays are not complete without an update from Dave Maupin and his blog "Among the Dogwoods". Dave spent time at the most recent Camden County Commission meeting, and we discussed all of the events that transpired. What is amazing is the commission has added a consulting company to the tune of $200,000.00. For that kind of money they better get it right. Dave and Sheriff Helms had a falling out, but they made up the next day.
