Pam Long graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1997. She was commissioned in the Army as a Medical Service Corps Officer. She served as an ambulance platoon leader, medical intelligence officer for various deployments, medevac battalion headquarters commander, and medical brigade training officer for battlefield medics. As a civilian, she earned a board certification in behavioral therapy. For the past ten years in Colorado, she has been an advocate for medical freedom at the state capitol with Colorado Health Choice Alliance, a military health writer for The Defender at Children's Health Defense, and a monthly guest on Kim Monson’s conservative radio show to discuss health politics in Colorado.
