Welcome to our new episode of Kathopokathan. Summer is gone, rain is cooling mother Earth. While we were enjoying the beautiful recitations, songs, original poems and art creativities, I had some time to sit down with Kushal Roy, who started in Shishubihar in 1966. Allthough Kushalda spent a short stint in Shishubihar but his roots and bonds remains very strong till date.
Kushal-da specialized in International business from IIFT and is an weathered Exports and International market development leader. He has extensively traveled the entire length and breadth of the globe , with more than 25 countries in Africa itself which is almost half of that continent! He traveled to the countries where many may not have ventured. I could not keep count of the name of the countries and places that he mentioned but that certainly would aggravate ones urge to travel Africa.
He is a great singer and an accomplished actor as well, looks like that passion came from being a fairy in the "Sleeping beauty"! Jokes apart, he is also philanthropist in nature, loves to spend his time helping older generation in time of need.
Listen to the awesome stories on Shishubihar, Bangladesh war, and his extensive experience in African countries. The stories are so interesting that we could not do any justice to them due to time constraint. But we long to hear more from Kushal-da.
