Manick Vennimalai is an engineer by education and profession. Graduating with a bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Engineering Guindy, Chennai, he (like many others) found his path migrating towards the IT field. After a few years of working in the Healthcare IT industry as a software developer, he decided to take the plunge and self-educate himself in the field of Machine Learning (vis-a-vis Artificial Intelligence) subsequently landing a job as a Machine Learning Engineer and working under IIT-Madras professors for 2 years. Manick is now in the process of acquiring two Masters degrees, one based in the US (Georgia Tech) being done remotely, and one based in the UK - (Southampton Uni) that is set to start in September 2022. Manick moonlights as Dr. Maniak, a DJ that aims to serve snappy, uplifting and non-conventional electronic music. You can find him on Instagram @drmaniak
