Perfected for a younger audience by artist Omani Hanmer as part of our "Sounds, Stories and Places" workshops.
This is a great example of new skill development attending workshops conducted by sound artist Rob Mullender Ross.
These workshops engaged participants in building a sense of place through sound recording, listening, narrative and composition and weaving them into stories, impressions, histories, textures etc; creating works which build a sense of place through sound.
This particular sound installation was exhibited last November in Fleetwood Market along side a video projection.
These workshops where part of the Studios "Pride & Place Project" funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
