Stunning interview of Russell Crowe by Raymond Arroyo about his upcoming movie, “The Pope’s Exorcist.”
Russell himself states the movie is not faithful to Fr. Amorth or his work but is a horror movie with bits of truth weaved in.
When pressed on how close he tried to get to the real Fr. Amorth, Crowe replies: “Look, we’re all adults in this room, we’re talking about horror movies, and you’re asking me about artistic license in the horror genre? The entire thing is artistic license, isn’t it?”
When asked how the experience of working on an exorcism movie affected his personal faith and sense of the war between good and evil in the World, his response was, “I don’t think it affected it at all.”
There it is, folks. If you hope to learn something about Fr. Amorth, the Devil, demonic possession, or exorcism, you won’t learn it by watching “The Pope’s Exorcist.” Even Russell Crow as the leading actor learned nothing. If you want to learn theological truth, see “Nefarious.” Both movies opened today (April 14) - Fr Carlos Martins #ThePopesExorcist #moviereview #Exorcism #spiritualwarfare #adrianmilagtv #katolikoako
