In this episode we are continuing with our April Topic on Challenges. We are going to deep dive into why we need to challenge existing ideas when we face Challenges!
Deep Dive -
1. Getting stuck in worn out thought patterns (It’s always going to be hard, my family had these patterns, I don’t have the answers, that’s just how it is) We have to shift and be open to new thoughts.
2. Getting stuck in a mindset of false comparisons. (My friends always have xyz, Other people here promotions, other people have help with their kids, other people don’t face that many health problems) Instead of comparing, how can we come into a new way of thinking
3. Just because the “world” or the “community” says “this is how it is” “this is what you should do” is not a one size fits all. Look at your mindset and be brave to go your own way.
Actionable items
A. Sit with yourself and write about all the thoughts you are having about your current challenges and get real with where your ego is.
B. Get creative brainstorming new creative ideas to your current challenges, this may look like new ways to do things, looking at your support system, or your mindset focusing on what you can do rather than your worries.
C. Do things! Work out, clean the house, call a friend, garden.. love your body as you can and your mind.
D. In the midst of our most challenging times, do for others what you can. When we give in our challenging times it flows energy.
