A young couple was parked by a desolate riverside but were shockingly interrupted when they came face to face with a huge, wet, hairy, and mud-slathered beast! The bizarre creature would go on to torment the citizens of the small community tucked away in the southwestern region of Illinois. The horrific encounters would continue for about fourteen days before its reign of terror abruptly ended, resulting in one of the strangest and, in some ways, most frightening cases in the history of cryptids.
