Taking time out for YOU. So my body had been giving me subtle hints to take a step back and I wasn’t listening. You know the feeling - not having enough energy, not eating properly, not feeling awake - well my body had had enough of me ignoring those hints and it hit me straight between the eyes to STOP. Masking our negative emotions tells our teen daughters to ignore their feelings, making them far bigger and scarier leading to imploding and exploding behaviours.
