Episode 16 of "In The Front Row with Mike Vaccaro" features UCLA Director of Athletics Martin Jarmond. Growing up in Fayetteville, NC in the 1980s, Jarmond was playing multiple sports which eventually led him to UNCW in Wilmington, NC where he was a two-time captain on the Seahawks basketball team. During his time playing for Jerry Wainwright, Jarmond helped bring UNCW their first conference title and trip to the NCAA Tournament.  After graduating in 2001, Jarmond got his master's degree at Ohio University and soon after started his career in athletic administration. After stops at Michigan State and The Ohio State University, he became the youngest athletic director at a Power 5 school when he was named AD at Boston College in 2017 at 37 years old. In May of 2020, he took over at UCLA during a pandemic and now oversees one of the most-historic athletic programs in the country. Jarmond shares his "Welcome to Westwood" moment, plus his first meeting with Bruin legend Bill Walton.
