What should someone expect when calling or texting a crisis line?

In this round of Ask Kev, he concentrates on how to deal when reaching out to a crisis line or service. The first time Kevin called the line, it was for a friend of his that was in a bad spot. Fortunately, the police, Margaret, and Kevin found her before she could injure herself. When Kevin texted the service, it was for himself, he was in need of a private-basis conversation with someone. As a final thought: you can always be the person to change someone’s life, don’t miss that opportunity.

We know that the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline works, and it is there for you to use. Please reach out if you aren’t feeling well and as many times as you need.
