Diann was born in Forest Mississippi, to the proud parents of Percy and Elma Pace. Ultimately her family relocated to the Dayton, OH area where she has spent the majority of her life.
Diann accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at the age of 15 with the infilling of the Holy Ghost and has experienced God’s hand on her life ever since. Her church foundation and growth can be attributed to her time spent in the ministries under the Church of God in Christ (C.O.G.I.C.) organization, notably Prayer Garden (Dayton, OH) under the leadership of the late James McMahon Sr. and St. Paul with Superintendent Earl N. Blake, Sr.
Diann serves faithfully everywhere God has placed and assigned her. She has been a Sunday School teacher and usher. Diann is a woman of wisdom and of the Word and desires to see God’s people lives changed. She received her Missionary license in 1993 in San Bernardino, CA.
In 1983, Diann relocated to the San Bernardino, CA area and served under the leadership of the late Pastor Harvey Johnson, Sr. at the Carter Memorial C.O.G.I.C. It was during her time there that she met her husband, Elder Robert Jones, Sr. They remained and served in the San Bernardino, CA area until Elder Jones heard the Lord speak, “it’s time to move” They obeyed the voice of the Lord and have made Dayton, OH their home ever since. The Jones’ have been blessed to be married for the last 39 years. They are the proud parents of two beautiful children and five grandchildren.
God has continued to open many doors for Diann and she graciously says,"Yes” to the call of God upon her life. She currently serves at Zion Temple C.O.G.I.C. under the leadership of Bishop George L. Carter, Sr. as the local and district Women’s Department Leader. She is also the Assistant to the State Women’s Department Supervisor of the Ohio Southern Jurisdiction.
Diann has an Associate degree in Specialized Technology from Skadron College of Business in San Bernadino, CA. She has worked in hospital administration for the last 30 years and is looking forward to retirement.
In her spare time, Diann enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, bowling, skating and being active.
