In this episode I am joined by Andy. Andy is a sex and love addict who I met a couple months back at a local S retreat and he has quickly become a part of my inner circle and close friend. Andy shares where things began and what eventually lead him into recovery. Love addiction is something I've heard about in meetings but not something I've talked about because I don't believe its something that I struggle with. Andy shares how love addiction has impacted him and his life. Being two single guys in recovery Andy and I talk about dating plans, which is something that I believe needs to be in place when it comes to finding a partner and trying to navigate dating. Through all of the loneliness there is hope. If life is a puzzle our addict is constantly doing whatever he can to hinder that process, by hiding puzzle pieces or just completely throwing the puzzle off the table. In recovery we are rebuilding that puzzle while keeping the addict at bay, through trial and error. Andy ends things with a poem he wrote called "the woman shaped hole".
