Dear Father in heaven, what a privilege it is to be able to call you “Father!” As your children, we can come before you - rejoicing in our relationship with your Son, Jesus Christ, whose death & resurrection has broken the power of sin that separates us from you. Forgive us Lord, for not measuring up and for letting you down many times by our sinful thoughts and actions. Please remove everything in our lives that is not pleasing in Your sight and create in us a clean heart.
Lord, you are full of grace and mercy towards your children. Father, please restore a right spirit within us as we come boldly and confidently, before your throne of grace on behalf of all those who are afflicted in the body, mind, and spirit.
We pray for those who are battling with cancer - Choo Geck & Rebecca’s mother as well as Ang Ling Ling’s sister. Be their fortress and strength during this difficult time. Grant them the assurance of your loving presence. Remove the fear and anxiety that they might be experiencing and replace them with your peace that surpasses all understanding. May they be filled with the comfort that you alone can give. We commit them into your mighty healing hands. May your will and purpose be done in their lives and bodies.
We pray for Tracy’s father, who is still experiencing blurry vision, despite the recent eye surgery. May he neither despair nor be discouraged by his present condition. Turn his heart towards you Lord, and turn his eyes upon Jesus that in your grace and mercy, may his sight be restored. That this may be done not according to our own will, but in accordance to Your perfect will and purpose.
Most gracious & loving God, though each of us are like sheep that has gone astray, you gave us your Son Jesus Christ to be the Good Shepherd who came to seek out the lost and to give His life for the sheep. You desire all to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth.
We pray for William and Hock Moi’s son, Dexter, whom Jesus loved and gave His life for him. Draw him back to yourself and along with him, his wife Xinni and their sons, Coen and Callen. Show them that You are the way, the truth, and the life – and bring them back into a personal relationship with you.
Thank you for hearing our prayers and for answering them in your own perfect time. Teach us to be patient in affliction and rejoice in hope as we put our trust in you. Please accept this prayer that we offer by faith in Christ’s most precious Name, Amen!
