(Special Prayer for all the Children - led by Hannah Goh)
Dear Father in heaven, this is Hannah speaking! I come before you right now on behalf of all the precious little children far and near. You love them as much as you love me and my family. Protect their hearts and minds from all ungodly influences. Please help all the parents to obey your instructions to teach their children how they should live, so that they will remember it all their lives – just as your Word in Proverbs chapter 22:6 reminds us. Help our parents to lead by example so that their children may see Jesus in their lives and follow in their footsteps.
Dear God, please watch over all those children with special needs and cause them to know that you love them very much and that every one of them is precious to you! Please help the parents to see your image in these children. Give them special strength to love them and to bring them up in the ways of the Lord.
Dear God, there are many other children in the world who are less privileged and vulnerable. Many of these children live in places torn apart by wars and conflicts and many others come from broken homes and families. Please protect these poor children and rescue them from their sufferings. Only you can comfort them and give them hope and everlasting peace. Move the hearts of those who can make a difference to speak out against all the evils and injustices done against these children, and to do the right thing.
Dear God, thank you for Christmas for it reminds us that Jesus knows and understands what it is like to be a child because He came into this sinful world as a child. By sacrificing Himself on the cross, He shows us how much He loves and cares for us, which include all the little children in the world. You reminded us in the Bible that you desire none of these little ones be lost, but to come to you and be saved.
Thank you in advance for hearing my prayer and for answering it in Your own perfect time. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen!

Our Father in heaven, thank you for the opportunity to join with one another in prayer on this Christmas morning.
We are reminded at this time of the year, your greatest gift to us – Jesus Christ, who willingly left the glory of heaven to be born on earth so that we might come to know You through Him. There are still so many who have yet to experience the salvation that He offers, and some of them are our loved ones and family members, neighbours, friends and colleagues. Open their hearts to you and through your Holy Spirit, help them realise how much they need Him. Give them the courage to respond to Him today!
Most gracious & loving God, the great physician of body, soul and spirit. We bring before you those who are sick and those in recovery.

May they find peace and comfort in knowing that they are not alone. For those who grieve the passing of their loved ones, remind them of your love for them and for those whom He has called to rest in His eternal home. Grant them the peace that transcends all understanding and the comfort that only You alone can give. God almighty, You are our shelter & strength, and our present help in times of trouble. In You we can experience your calming peace in the midst of troubled seas. Thank You that in You, we can experience peace in all situations, no matter what the circumstances.
As we celebrate Christmas today, remind us that it is because of Christ’s great love for us that compelled Him to come and redeem us. We ask and pray all these In Christ’s most wonderful name, Amen!
