This episode is brought you to you by Sis. Kelly New and Rev. Forest Koh.
Let us come to the Lord and pray for one another.
Our Father in heaven, we praise you because you are holy and we are called to be holy. We thank you for your amazing grace that surpasses all our sins. Your grace is more powerful than all our misgivings, you pull us into a way of life shaped by the incarnational life of our Lord Jesus, a life energetic and blazing with holiness.
Father, as the times are getting darker and darker, help us to be alert, help us to be edifying to one another, uphold one another in prayer.
At this moment, we want to pray for those who are weak, strengthen them with your words, and surround them with loving brothers and sisters;
For those who are depressed due to the lost of jobs, unable to cope in their studies, broken relationships in the family, lost of their love ones… father, we need your divine intervention.
…we pray for the sick and bring them before you.
You care about them and are just as concern about their physical health as much as you care about their spiritual health.
In Isa 41:10, 2Cor.12:9, you reminded us that though you have not promised us that life would be easy or there would be no sickness and suffering – you have promised us your mercy and grace - and you said that you will be with us and that your grace would be sufficient for us.
We come to you right now on behalf of those who look to you for strength and healing. We join bro. Stanley Lim in praying for Hee Leong, who is stricken with cancer and suffering from the effects of a brain tumor. Grant relief to his body and remove any pain and discomfort that he is experiencing. Extend your hand of mercy and let him experience your peace and healing presence. Grant wisdom to those to administer treatment and patience to those who care for him.
We pray for those who are suffering in silent and whose needs are not made known to us. Yet you know each one of them by name and you know what they are going through right now. Be their comforter and strength. Deliver each one of them from their afflictions - and surround them with your healing grace & loving presence!
Because of the hope that we have in Jesus - in this life, we can still rejoice even when times are hard – for we know that you are sovereign and your purpose for us is always good. You have promised to be with us and promised that your grace would be sufficient for us. We thank you for your daily provisions.
Thank you for delivering us from those things in the world that seek to seduce and to tempt us to doubt your love and cause us to sin. Thank you for the assurance of your abiding presence and protection! In Jesus Christ’s most precious name, Amen!
