Description

Our guest this morning is Steve Hodges, co-owner of Ragin Cajun Café & Moonshine Bar in Redondo Beach.

Steve moved from the East Coast to Torrance in 1983 and has resided in the South Bay ever since. His first job was at Lamppost Pizza in Torrance where he worked and then managed for years. In 2014, he and his wife Lisa decided to reopen the Ragin Cajun Cafe in Redondo Beach. Since then, they’ve built the restaurant into a thriving business that hosts many popular annual events from Mardi Gras to Crabfest.

Now, they’re embarking on a new venture to produce and promote a local music festival. The inaugural Ragin Cajun Blues Festival will take place on Saturday, October 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Seaside Lagoon in Redondo Beach. It’s going to be an epic day of food, fun and incredible music, featuring top artists Davy Knowles, Tommy Castro & The Painkillers, Reverend Tall Tree and Eric Sardinas & Big Motor.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at https://www.ragincajunbluesfest.com/
