UTSA is USC's Undocumented Trojan Student Assembly. Their mission is to create a safe space for undocumented students and their allies. The allies support the rights of undocumented immigrants but are not undocumented themselves. And recently UTSA has been examining the intersection of allies and undocumented. Amy Lopez asked the Assistant Director of UTSA, Melissa Paz-Flores, about allyship in our current political climate.
Paz-Flores is the Assistant Director of UTSA. She'll be stepping down at the end of the year. Next week, we'll hear from the incoming co-exec about the future of UTSA.
