One of the most notable broadcasting stations in the United States is leaving Twitter. NPR announced Wednesday morning that the non-profit media organization and its 52 official accounts will leave the app in reaction to the company being branded as "government-funded media" by Elon Musk's Twitter.
NPR called the label "inaccurate and misleading," and will move away from Twitter to avoid a quote: "shadow of negativity."
