Christmas can become a very hectic time of year because there are so many things to do: decorating the house, shopping for gifts, baking Christmas treats, parties to attend. Marketing and media make sure we don’t miss “commercial” Christmas – but are we so distracted that we miss the Christ of Christmas?
In this message, we look at 2 different groups of people: the residents of Bethlehem, so busy with life they missed what God was doing right there in their own town; and the shepherds – simple, humble men who were open to hearing God’s message, hurried to see the newborn Saviour, and then told everyone in the town the amazing things God had done for them. Let’s not let distractions make us miss Jesus this Christmas.
