Description

A sustainable sex life, fast cars, the power of money… all topics that we cover (or, well, at least touch upon) in this first episode of our series "Tea with IE". Ever wondered what Industrial Ecology (IE) students do in their free time, or what they did before studying IE? Well, this is your chance. In this series, we talk to fellow IE students about interesting and more or less IE related projects, adventures or experiences in their life. For this episode, David and Maurizia sat down with Katrien and talked about the projects she has worked on before starting her master’s in Industrial Ecology (teaser: one resulted in 300 million euro less being invested in fossil fuels!). In five and a few questions we get to what drives and motivates her and where she takes hope from. Don't miss out on this source of inspiration!

Some things we talked about that you might find interesting to look up:

Rutger Bregman on “Taxes, taxes, taxes!” at the World Economic Forum here,

Café De Ceuvel,

Metabolic,

Campaign page of the “fossil free pensionfund” action (in Dutch) here,

and the Condomerie
