In this episode, I talk with survivor and memoir writer Kimberly Henry. She shares her story of when she realized she’d lost herself after a series of abusive relationships and how finding the courage to write her memoir and helping others write theirs changed her life forever.
Growing up, Kimberly, saw firsthand the effects alcoholism had on family and relationships. She was determined not to repeat the pattern, but as she shared with me, "Yeah if you look at the stats, it's significantly high that especially the more around that, especially alcoholics, the more that you're around it, the more you're going to repeat the patterns that you know. So I, it was inevitable that I was going to repeat patterns because I was resistant to really doing the work."
Now she is writing her memoir, sharing her story, and helping others share their stories through writing. If You would like to get help or have your memoir written for you connect with Kimberly today at https://kimberlyhenrycoaching.com
